Strife announces 3 new heroes!

S2Games announced 3 new heroes yesterday. All that was officially revealed was their names, splash art, and a brief clip of them in game. Not much information was released, and what was shared was only in a teaser trailer video. Click Read More for my full summary.

Jin Shi (Spelling unconfirmed) has the appearance of a human woman, holding a whip of fire. Oh, her hair is also on fire. Or made of fire, it's hard to tell. Her background seems to contain some Chinese or Japanese styled structures. She appears to have a sort of self-slingshotting move, which she uses a whip from each hand to launch herself across the map.

Nikolai is a large man, wielding a large looking hammer. There is little that I can recognize of his art, other than he seems to be swinging his hammer at a just barely off screen person. His clip shows him falling from the sky with an enemy hero, while saying "No escape." Again, this is in-game footage, so we can assume that it's part of one of his abilities.

Goh Khan is a bo staff wielding monkey. His art shows him with a bit of a crazed look, and seems to feature a heavy theme of ice and cold in the background. I suspect that maybe there will be some ice-based moves in his kit. His gameplay clip shows him leaping a decent distance, then knocking back all enemy units around him.

When asked by a user on the announcement's forum page when the heroes would release, an S2Games staff member replied:
